An ancient Indian cultivar with a prestigious history, Jasminum sambac ‘Granduca di Toscana’ is a rare and magnificent variety. It is celebrated for its opulent double flowers that closely resemble small gardenias, releasing an intoxicating fragrance. A unique characteristic of this jasmine is its tendency for the outer petals to take on a deep pink flush. While it shares the glossy dark green foliage and informal, scandent habit of the species, its growth is notably slower and more deliberate. It can be elegantly trained against a trellis or support to showcase its blooms.

The name is a tribute to the Grand Duke of Tuscany, who famously cultivated rare exotic plants in his private gardens. In the early 20th century, it was the flower of choice for the buttonholes of Sicilian gentlemen—a refined tradition of elegance that we continue to promote today. This plant is a true “unicum,” offering a fragrant journey through botanical history.

[352
813,659,500
post-9563","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-jasminum-en","product_tag-arabian-jasmine-sambac","product_tag-highly-scented-jasmines","product_tag-white-blooms","first","outofstock","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-variable
