Pelargonium crispum Major is one of the most significant scented varieties, renowned for its intense and sharp lemon fragrance. It features very small leaves with heavily crinkled and crenate margins, growing on distinctive, strictly upright stems. While it has a controlled growth rate, it remains vigorous; when planted together and regularly pinched out, multiple specimens can create stunning, rounded displays. The flowers bloom at the tips of the vertical branches, showcasing a beautiful spectrum of pinks—from pale blush to deep mauve. The two larger upper petals feature a striking red “eye” at the centre, providing a bold contrast to the cooler pink tones.
