Pelargonium Hirtum (scented)

P. hirtum (Burm. f.) Jacq.

Pelargonium hirtum is a fascinating semi-succulent botanical species, highly valued for its ornamental appeal. It forms a very dense bush characterized by bright green, deeply pinnate leaves that look and feel remarkably feathery. This “plumose” foliage is not only beautiful to the eye but also pleasantly scented. The flowers are small and vibrant fuchsia, with the two upper petals notably larger than the rest. Although it is a relatively slow-growing and somewhat delicate plant, its unique texture and sophisticated appearance make it an exceptional decorative piece for any specialized collection.
