Angel Pelargoniums are a fascinating and mysterious group, cherished since the 19th century. Renowned for their extraordinarily generous displays, they resemble miniature Regals but are distinguished by a much more compact and bushy habit.

Their exquisite flowers echo those of the Imperial (Regal) varieties but with a unique detail: the two upper petals are usually larger and a different colour from the lower ones, giving them a delicate, “pansy-faced” aesthetic.

 

Beyond their visual charm, these pelargoniums surprise with their often-scented foliage, which rivals that of classic scented-leaved varieties. They are exceptionally free-flowering; with a light “pinching out” (deadheading and trimming), they are capable of producing a second, spectacular flush of blooms throughout the season.
